Located west of the Qinhuai River in Nanjing, Mochou Lake is a famous classical garden in the south of the Yangtze River with a long history of 1,500 years and rich cultural resources. It is said that Mochou was a beautiful girl in the south dynasty of Qi and Luoyang. She was very poor and sold her body to bury her father. She married Jinling far away.
