A Shinto shrine built by the Makino family

    Original Text

It is located at the entrance of Yukuyama Park. If you go up the stairs from the parking lot, you will see a magnificent company. It is said that it was erected by the former Nagaoka feudal lord (Makino family), and the shrine has Mitsuhakashiwa, the family crest of the Makino family. It seems that the temple did not collapse even in the Chuetsu earthquake.

It was a shrine in Yukuyama Yamauchi in Nagaoka City!

    Original Text

It was a shrine in Yukuyamayama, Nagaoka City. It seems that Tadatatsu Makino, the third feudal lord of the Nagaoka domain, deeply believed in Shinto and was given the god name of Aoshiba Myojin after his death.
