Beautiful
We had a walk around the church and surrounding area. Was winter so didn’t venture too far, but what a beautiful area
Nice colors
The lake area in this time was very peaceful, nice colors, but level of the lake was very low so the church was not in the water.
Mavrovo Lake
Mavrovo Lake was pretty dry when we arrived . Still however the Mavrovo Lake is great to be at . The church was easily to be seen and walked too . To top it off 2 horses wandered around the environ...
Pretty lake
The lake is very picturesque and can be viewed from various vantage points in Mavrovo village although we found that there wasn’t much more offered from Mavrovo than the view from the dam at the point...
One of the most beautiful places in Macedonia
If you are traveling to Macedonia, be sure to visit Mavrovo and Galicnik. The mountainside is out of this world
