You have to pay to get access to the wall. It was an easy walk around. You do get the views from there so worth doing.

Excellent Walk Along the CIty Walls

This is a major item to do in Motovun along with climbing the bell tower and eating some delicious Istrian food. The views from the city walls are excellent.

The hotel is very nice, but it is not the most beautiful of the villages because, preferred Groznjan or Hum more typical, much better maintained and much cheaper.
