　This year (2017), it was my first visit in a long time. Although it was before the consecutive holidays in May, the essential azaleas were not in full bloom and were a little disappointing, but the double cherry blossoms near the observatory were spectacular. When it is in full bloom, the site is filled with red azaleas, and if it is limited to the area around Miyakonojo City, it is worth a look because there is no such azalea attraction. Large parking lots, toilets and rest facilities are maintained, but shops ... except for the azalea season.
