Sherlock Holmes Museum

Opened in 1991, the Sherlock Holmes Museum is not as large as the original location of the London novel, but it is also a place to see. The museum is located under an old English church in the center of a village in Meiringen, and displays a wide variety of corpses related to detectives. Old-fashioned muskets and sabres hang on the walls, and microscopes, magnifying glasses, and inkwells sit on the desk. On the sofa were the violins and bows that Sherlock Holmes used frequently outside of the investigation. In addition, the living room of Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Watson described in the novel, the reception room at 221 Baker Street, London, is also realistically reproduced here.
