Went out of our way on drive home friday 28th april and walked along canal cromford for mile and half to view the Nightingale cottage which we have passed hundreds of times but now its been restored.. Very annoyed to find its not open to view despite all the hype ..Friday 2pm bank holiday weekend and its fenced off..no public access. Having just driven from Bakewell where they aren,t impressed by authorities either.its looking like they dont want tourist money in derbyshire
