Traveling to Matera is mainly European, and there are very few Chinese. Matera's main feature is the original cave caves, some of which have been abandoned, and the other part has locals living in it, mainly for tourism services, opening bars, hotels, etc. This time I stayed in a hotel converted from a scrap church, which was a bit scary at night. People who go to play are best staying in a hotel by the street, so it doesn't feel terrible to come out, and the street is lively at night. Overall, the old town is a declining city.

Amazing, well preserved murals. The old place to worship is a cave hidden outside the city of Matera. It is incredible to think how old these paintings are. Photography is not allowed, so there are good postcards.

You need to buy tickets to visit here, a few dollars euros is not bad.
