It is connected by a promenade rather than just beside the roadside station "Kotonami". I think the autumn leaves will be beautiful from mid-October to late October.
The Mikado Valley, which can be accessed by National Highway 438, is located upstream of the Doki River, the only first-class river in Kagawa Prefecture. The earthenware river, which has the image of no water flowing, was constantly flowing here, and the atmosphere like a valley in the mountains was good.
It is a valley that can be walked from the roadside station. I felt a little chilly because I visited in April, but the clear stream was flowing beautifully. I felt it was a good spot to stop by.
If it's the time of autumn leaves, I think it's as beautiful as you posted, but early October may be a half-time season. The temperature was about 3 degrees low and I felt chilly. Therefore, it may be good to visit in the summer to escape the heat. Unfortunately, this time, I couldn't feel the beauty of the valley with a lot of weeds.
