Picasso Museum Málaga

The Picasso Museum in Malaga is an exhibition of paintings dedicated to the artistic activities of the famous Spanish master and organized in his hometown. The collection is located in a historic building included in the register of protected cultural sites of Spain, in the Buenavista Palace. The ancient two-storey building is located in the heart of the old town and is a magnificent example of Andalusian architecture of the XVI century. For a long time, an association of two provincial museums (archaeological and art) operated within its walls, until in 2003 the Pablo Picasso Museum took its place. Overall, truly inspiring trip!

A very nice museum, probably to best in Malaga. You can buy tickets online and queue for about 40 minutes or buy them at the entrance and go back to queue after 3pm. Recommended to come here

Took the tour and learned so much about his life and the story behind all of his styles. The family and friends had much influence on his work from the early years as a teenager was more classic to his dark blue period, the origins of his inspirations etc she did a great job. Don’t just walk thru and see it take the tour and get the whole story you will be glad you did. The only stress was finding her just passed the entrance in the gothic quarter.
