I have been living in Makati for as long as I can remember and I thought I knew all the ins an outs of the City until I accidentally discovered this Greek Orthodox Chapel, exactly right in front and just literally a few steps from where I live.St George Greek Orthodox Chapel is at the Adamson Center, at the Corner of Leviste and Salcedo (beside the 7-11 by Toby's Estate and Piccaso Hotel). I didn't get the chance to spend a lot of time inside. juat a quick glance and a picture, so I decided to ask about the history instead. So why is there a Greek Orthodox Church here?Well, despite the very English sounding name Adamson, the patriarch George Lucas Adamson, is actually Greek, hence a Greek Orthodox Chapel in his building. The Chapel isn't very big, however, I only got to see in a glance some paintings inside. but what I found very interesting is the intricately carved main door.
