What great fun! For Xmas I rented my dad and his wife a pear tree for the year. Today we picked the fruit. What great fun. We kept some pears to eat and joined a small queue for the juicing. So tasty and very interesting too. Wheelbarrows were provided to help carry the pears. Nigel the pig was enjoying the pear pulp too! Coffee, tea and hot chocolate available and homemade cakes to buy. Plenty of parking too. Such a lovely day for any age!
