Tiantang Lake Scenic Spot

Paradise Lake is located between Jiuzi River and Dadi Col. This is an artificial lake about 5 kilometers long and 500 meters wide. Take a car along the road to the east of the scenic spot, and go straight down through Ailuping for about 7 kilometers to arrive at Dadiao Township, where the Tiantang Lake Dam is located. The mountains around the lake area are pleasant: East and West Paradise Village, Bijia Mountain rise from the ground, and the vast and majestic; in the west, the thin knife peak, the three provinces, the flowing clouds, and the colorful clouds; Going towards the arch pole; Moss Pass and Weng Gate Pass in the north cross the east and west, and stand out in awe. Chang'e Gorge: Located in the southeastern part of the lake, it is named because the jade belt flutters when looking at the head of the wings, which resembles Chang'e. The mountain peaks in this place stand, the bank is steep, the water potential is looped, and the river is narrow. If it encounters a surging spring tide, summer rains, and the floods from the upstream come overwhelmingly, rushing left and right in the gap between the three turns and eighteen turns, the sound is like The sound of thunder is like the Three Gorges with the same name. Qingtan Temple: Located on the northwest side of the lake tail, the original site has been submerged in the lake water. According to the records in "Wang's Genealogy", Qingtan Temple was destroyed in the Wanli Bingchen year of the Ming Dynasty. Kangxi's room was rebuilt by the four Wang brothers who were good in virtue, good in government, good in benevolence and good in righteousness. At that time, the scale was huge, with the upper, middle and lower halls, enshrining seventeen statues, complete with Buddha, emperor and ancestor. In 1996, Xiutian Lake Reservoir was flooded; it was rebuilt in 1997.
