Lund University Historical Museum

Very well furnished museum! This museum is huge. I mainly looked at the 20th century galleries to see how they tell the story of this turbulent century. The information here is very rich.

The Lund History Museum, built in 1805, is the second largest historical archaeological museum in Sweden, small and exquisite. The museum's collection spans the Stone Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age until modern times. Among the collections is the archaeological excavations of the ancient Iron Age town of Uppakra, and Sweden's second largest coin collection. In addition, medieval church artwork, well preserved and full of mystery, is a highlight of the museum's collection.

The history museum is a big building, and there are many different animal and plant specimens in the museum, all of which are archaeologically discovered, as well as large dinosaur fossils.
