Longjing Museum

Longjing Korean Folklore Museum is a local ethnic and folklore museum in China, located in the eastern suburb of Longjing City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province. The museum premises consist of exhibition halls, traditional houses and new houses. The exhibition hall displays Korean folk cultural relics. Among them are production tools, tableware, furniture, clothing, shoes and hats, decorations, books, calligraphy, folk musical instruments and entertainment utensils. The family life display consists of two parts: traditional houses and new houses. The display reflects the evolution of Korean family life and housing structure. The traditional house restores the scenes of the family life of the Yanbian Korean family at the beginning of this century, and displays the folk cultural relics of the family life of the Yanbian Korean family for more than 100 years. Compared with traditional houses, new-style housing is basically similar except for dining room and heating kang, and the rest are constantly changing.
