六盘山长征景区由展厅、纪念碑、红旗造型的影壁墙、青铜雕塑等部分组成，景区展示了红军长征中的上百件遗物、文物、图片资料，仿制了毛主席住过的窑洞等等，再现六盘山儿女在长征精神的鼓舞下建设家园的情景。
六盘山红军长征景区是国家4A级旅游景区，总面积12平方公里。主要包括红军长征纪念广场、纪念馆、纪念碑、纪念亭、吟诗台、红军小道、六盘山长征精神研学基地、“红军村”农家乐和游客服务中心等，是全国重要的红色旅游景区和避暑休闲胜地。
