This is by far the best square in London. The beauty of this place is simply unparalleled. Four big lions and beautiful fountains add spectacular views to this place. When we went in the afternoon, it was crowded with tourists. The National Gallery is right on the square. I took some pretty pictures of this place. You can sit by the fountain for hours drinking coffee or eating a waffle ice cream.

Trafalgar Square, London, UK, this square is a very famous square in London, where you can experience a feeling of freedom and the exotic style of other countries. Sitting here, even if you do it for an hour or two first, it feels very interesting.
an open park with very close proximity to the Buckingham Palace. Good for late afternoon walk or if you want to have a glimpse of royalty.
The square was built in 1805, at the south end of the Whitehall, the government office area, leading to the Capitol, and at the southwest is the Admiralty Gate (also known as the Admiralty Arch), behind the boulevard road to Buckingham Palace. To the north is the National Gallery. There is also St. Martin's Church around the square, and the High Commissioner's Office of the Commonwealth countries such as Canada, South Africa and Malaysia (the ambassadorial representative office of the Commonwealth countries). There used to be streets around the square. In recent years, the north side streets have been blocked and replaced with sidewalks, improving traffic and environment in the square.
The parade on New Year's Day was very lively, looking for a roadside cafe for lunch when I was tired
