临夏红园是一个具有古典建筑风貌的江南园林，到内可以看到砖雕木雕和河州彩绘，似江南又别具塞外的一处景点。位于临夏市红园路，始建于1958年，建成于1986年。

国家AA级景区，位于临夏市红园路，始建于1958年，建成于1986年，占地面积46200平方米，其中建筑面积4500平方米，水上面积5200平方米。园内建筑以小巧玲珑的江南园林风格和高大恢宏的临夏地方民族建筑特色相结合，楼阁造型别致、飞檐翘角、雕梁画栋，砖雕木雕技艺精湛，饮誉西北。它把汉族的木刻、回族的砖雕和藏族的彩绘巧妙地融为一体，整体建筑错落有致，是一处以古典建筑和花木盆景为主体的庭院式公园。明末清初年间建筑"牌坊门"，民国初年建筑"风凌阁"，自五八年以后陆续移迁，建于园内，是临夏古典建筑群中的珍品。整个红园由牌坊门、清晕轩、石拱桥、风凌阁、如意湖、团结堂、盆景院、怡乐厅、动物园等组成。前院为花园，现设有银星餐厅，中院以建筑和人工湖组成，是文化交流场所，后院有动物园，是品尝风味小吃及儿童游乐的场所。人在红园坐，景自四边来。浓郁苍翠中，红冠群芳。透过物象细细揣思，你不难悟出"红园"这个美妙名称的贴切含义，正如一首词中所写："临夏好，最忆是红园。牡丹尽染红满院，亭阁卧波映栏杆，游人朝夕攀。"红园是临夏历史的百科全书，是临夏地区著名的人文景观，更是各族人民友好相处，憩息娱乐的主要场所。

公园在去年的时候重新翻修了一下，一下子变得超级好看，红墙绿瓦，湖水面积也很大，夏天的时候景色特别好。周边就是广场，吃的也方便。
