The last pitfall: We stayed in a hotel inside the Lijiang ancient town, the accommodation cost over seven hundred, which is considered high-end. The owner would use a tricycle to help us transport our luggage because the ancient town is all stone roads, and dragging suitcases by ourselves would probably ruin the wheels. When leaving, I asked the owner to transport the luggage and informed him that I needed to go to the north gate of Dayan Huaxiang to take the bus directly to the airport, 20 yuan per person. The owner told me that luggage can be taken to the south gate, where there are also buses. In the end, my luggage was transported to the south gate along with others', only to find out that there was no airport shuttle bus at the south gate at all. I had to go to the north gate of Dayan Huaxiang with my child, walking 1.4KM, and also wasted half an hour, so I ended up taking a taxi to Lijiang Airport. 88 yuan.
