Kapaia Swinging Bridge was built in 1948, and in that era, the bridge that locals would walk through every day, carrying a lot of historical significance. It was closed in 2006 due to a long period of disrepair, and was not rebuilt until 2018, becoming a popular attraction for locals and tourists on the island. The bridge is not long, it is a small suspension bridge, it is really rickety to walk up, it is interesting, but it does not feel dangerous.
