I loved the shade

I visited the park while on the Shooting Star Trail. After a hot day fighting headwinds with little shade, it was nice to go through a wooded area with shade.

Ok SP, not for swimming

Overall nice SP but if you are looking for swimming this is not the place. Water is full of silt, stagnant and full of algae. Kayaking was ok but it doesn't take long to cover the navigable area plus...

Great little park

Beautiful state park. We used the bike path which was well maintained in the state park. We shared the path with 2 does and their fawns, one set of twins. Peaceful & quiet. We later had a b...
