We were due to visit the sugar pines Mid-January 2020 but the severe bushfires destroyed the walk before we could get there. The trees cannot be saved and so the walk is now closed.
This is a great place if you like walking but especially if you are a photographer. The light that comes through the trees no matter what time of the day you visit is magical.

Sugar Pine Damage
We were due to visit the sugar pines Mid-January 2020 but the severe bushfires destroyed the walk before we could get there. The trees cannot be saved and so the walk is now closed.
Photographers dream
This is a great place if you like walking but especially if you are a photographer. The light that comes through the trees no matter what time of the day you visit is magical.
Worth the Trip mini getaway
Worth the trip. Apparently the pine trees are from Yosemite. Highly recommended. We also saw wild horses
