Baba Temple, also known as "Jiuzhao Pavilion", is a holy place for Muslims of the Gadeye sect of Islam. It is located at the southern foot of Panlong Mountain in the northeastern suburb of Langzhong City. Baba means "ancestor" in Arabic. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi, Huazhe Abdullahi, a Muslim in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, died while teaching Islam in Langzhong. He was buried here and built a temple. It has a history of more than 300 years. Baba Temple is composed of a mountain gate, a screen wall, an archway, a main hall, a flower hall, a well pavilion and a garden. It is a rare Islamic architectural complex in China. It attracts tourists from all over the world with its elegant, small and exquisite architectural art. The temple gate is brilliant and solemn, the corners of the pavilion are raised, and the ochre pillars are green. Entering the temple gate, you can see the brick-carved water mill screen wall built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It is about 10 meters long and 6 meters high. It is called a must, although after more than 300 years of wind and rain, it is still intact. The main hall is the main building in the temple, that is, Abdullah's tomb. The tomb is very special, the tomb coffin is suspended above the indoor well (spring). Doors and windows, walls and lintels are exquisitely carved, painted and gilded. Behind the main hall is the flower hall, which has a painting hall, which houses many calligraphy and paintings on tablets, plaques, and paintings, mostly calligraphy and painting by famous people in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The temple is surrounded by green trees inside and outside the temple, the ancient trees are towering, and the bamboo, cypress, sycamore, and laurel will set the temple in the green. It has been more than 300 years since the priests stipulated that the Baba Temple was guarded by imams sent by Hezhou and Hanzhong in turn. During Hari Raya, Eid al-Fitr, and Holy Period, Muslims from Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qing, Ning and other places often come to worship.
Baba Temple, a very quiet mosque temple, it is recommended not to go alone, too quiet, you know
