Ishidori Kaikan is a museum dedicated to the festival of Ishidori, a typical festival in Kuwana, and you can watch one of the oldest cars, discover the evolution of the festival over time...
The general festival car is four wheels, but the interesting thing is that the festival car of Ishitori Festival is three wheels.
I visited this building because it is a "nationally registered tangible cultural property" and the "Ishitori Festival" is a "nationally designated important intangible folk cultural property" and "ﾕﾈｽｺ intangible cultural heritage". In the actual "Ishitori Festival", it seems that 43 festival cars [held in August 2022] were used, but only one festival car is exhibited in the [Ishitori Kaikan]. The general festival car is four wheels, but it is interesting that the festival car of "Ishitori Festival" is three wheels. On the other hand, since the size of one festival car is not large, only one ...

The Ishitori Kaikan itself is a lonely museum with no much materials. I asked the staff whether it would be possible to hold this year, but it was still undecided.
