The appearance of the road
Original Text
I passed by when I traveled on the old Oshu Kaido Road. The old Oshu Kaido Road has few traces of it, but I think it is very good to see the attitude of recording it, such as old buildings remain here. It may be inferior to the place where it is sold as a tourist destination 々, but it is better to be calmer.
The atmosphere of the street that had prospered in the past remains somehow. There are also ordinary houses lined up, and if you don't know it, you will pass by. I don't feel like it's a place that you dare to come.
It's a street with a little remnant of the old post town, but it seems that not all the townscape is preserved, and I was impressed that there are some old buildings here and there.
On the way from National Highway 4 to Tomiya City Hall, it is a spot where retro buildings, which are said to have been post towns in the past, are lined up. There were Dozo-zukuri buildings, but there were many vacant lots, so I had the impression that it ended quite quickly.
If I was told that it was a post town in the past, I feel that the remnants remain in some places. Is it like the remnants of the old days blend in with the current cityscape?

Not a tourist attraction.
