It seems to be the oldest スパニッシュコロニアル style building in Japan.
Original Text
When I browsed this ホームページ, it was described as the oldest スパニッシュコロニアル style in Japan [see attached photo, 1919], so I visited it. Visited on August 17th, ホームページ said that the holidays were Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, and other Bon Festival holidays, so I didn't enter the inside and only appreciated the exterior, but it was located in the premises of JR Kiryu Station. Kiryu obtained at the Kankan Watari City Tourist Information [KIRYU; Cover Kiryu City ...
Is it a place like an old exchange center? It's a good city that there are still many such facilities. It's only a tour from the outside, but can I put it inside? I'm interested.
This is the club created for Kiryu's business people and the facilities for that. It's probably a remnant of the era when the silk industry prospered. It is unclear whether you will put it inside.
It was completed in Taisho 8 and was used as a social gathering place for masters. Together with the Kiryu Meijikan and the Kiryu Textile Memorial Hall, it is a modernization heritage that represents Kiryu. The Spanish style appearance is nice to keep the elegance of the social gathering place even now.
A social gathering place for Kiryu Club built in the early Taisho era when Kiryu's textile industry was prosperous. It is a modern Spanish-style building that tells you how Kiryu prospered at that time. The garden is also nice.
