I've never seen such a scenery before.

Azaleas have the image of a common flower blooming in the garden, but when you see them here, you will be overwhelmed. Especially the view from the first observatory was like a bright red sea of trees, which was impressive. The scenery with three primary colors, red azaleas, green mountains, blue sky and sea, is a must-see. It was in full bloom in late May.
Azaleas, which are said to be 50 10,000 stocks, grow naturally on Mt. Tokusen, and are in full bloom every year 5 mid-month. The azaleas that bloom on that scale are a masterpiece. It is seasonal, but it is recommended to see it first.
This time, I climbed from the Kesennuma side. A place to go with the intention of hiking. Looking around, you can see a backpack, a hat, and a sneaker style. It's a pity that I made a mistake in my clothes. 5/23 (fire) is in a state of blooming.
I think it's best to go here when the azaleas bloom. Especially from the top of the mountain, you can see a lot of really splendid azalea flowers. The altitude is not so high, so I think you can go slowly.
According to the guide volunteer, it was warm this year, but it didn't rain much in April and it was about a week later than last year. It was certainly the best view!

5 mid-Mid-Azaleas are in full bloom.
