It is said that it was converted from a dangerous house in a monastery. The exhibits not only watercolor works by artists such as Turner and Ruskin, but also some previous household items. Not bad.
This is the only venue in Kendal Town that is listed as a first-class landscape building. It was said to have been a private garden but it has since experienced some damage and the renovations have allowed us to still have a chance to see it today due to the attention of locals.
