Gongga Snow Mountain (Minya Konka) is located on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, in the middle of the Daxue Mountain Mountains in the Hengdu Mountain System, between the Dadu River and the Yaqi River. "Gongga Mountain", Tibetan meaning "the highest snow mountain", the mountain is about 60 kilometers north and south, about 30 kilometers east and west, its main peak altitude is 7556 meters.
