Mingshi Building

The company team building came to Kaiping Yilou Group Zili Village, visited Mingshi Building, which was built in 1925, with a height of 6 floors. The owner Fang Runwen made a living in the United States in the early years. After becoming the richest man in the local area, he went home to build Mingshi Building. This building stands in the rice field, and there is no particularly close building around, so it is also standing high and far away. The interpreter explained it well and could learn a lot of stories from the owner.

Mingshi Building is one of the open buildings of Kaiping Yilou Cultural Tourism Zone, located in Zili Village, Tangkou Town, Kaiping City, Guangdong Province. Mingshi Building was built by Mr. Fang Runwen, an overseas Chinese who traveled to the United States. It was built in 1925 and consists of the main building, annex building and courtyard. The main building is five floors high, with brick mixed structure and external wall cement. The annex building is a blue brick flat roof.

A tower that Zili Village can visit inside is a key cultural relics protection unit in the country. The layout of the building is basically maintained as it is. There are many Western-style furniture and living facilities, but the layout adopts the layout of the local three-bedroom and five-bedroom, and the roof can be used as a watchtower overlooking the surrounding scenery. It is also the best viewing spot.
