The tower was built in the Kaibao years of the Northern Song Dynasty. Because the appearance of the brown glazed tile sculpture Buddha statue, far from the rust color, the name of the tower, the tower is 13 floors high, after the earthquake and flood, it is not bad, it is spectacular. The temple in front of the tower has the Northern Song Dynasty to guide the Buddha.

The tower is located in the tower park at 210 Beimen Street, Kaifeng City. The tower is not made of iron. It is named after the color of masonry like iron. The tower can go up to enjoy the scenery on the four sides.

Kaifeng Tower is located in the Tower Park, No. 210 Beimen Street, Shunhe Hui District, Kaifeng City, Henan Province. This place was once Kaibao Temple, also known as "Kaibao Temple Tower". Because it is full of brown glazed tiles, mixed with iron casting, it is called "iron tower" from the Yuan Dynasty. Over the past 900 years, after war, water, earthquake and other disasters, it is still standing.

The tower is located in the eastern half of the tower park on Beimen Street, Kaifeng City, Henan Province. It is an important cultural relics and a major attraction in the park. It was built in 1049 AD (the first year of the Northern Song Dynasty). It is one of the first batch of key national protected cultural relics announced in China in 1961. It is known as the "first tower in the world".
