Dry Sea

Ganhaizi, scientifically known as Fangcaohai, is located at Gonggangling, the border between Songpan County and Jiuzhaigou County. It was originally a high mountain lake, but due to geological changes, the outlet expanded, so the local people called it "Ganhaizi". In fact, "Ganhaizi" is not dry. There are overlapping mountains and dense forests around it. The stream in the lake is winding, and the grass is lush, like a velvet carpet covering the ground. In summer and autumn, wild flowers are dotted in between, and there are herds of cattle, sheep, mules and horses. In winter and spring, it is deep yellow, which contrasts with the red leaves of the surrounding snow-capped mountains. Therefore, people gradually called "Ganhaizi" instead of "Ganhaizi".

Ganhaizi Attraction has a group of lakes consisting of Golden Rhinoceros Lake, Fragrant Grass Lake and Nine-bend Colorful River. With these as the center, the surrounding alpine canyons are densely populated with river waterfalls, dense virgin forests, and obvious vertical bands of alpine plants. It is located between Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong Scenic Areas, with convenient transportation conditions, a large range of activities and rich landscape resources. In addition, there are also tourist attractions such as the Grand Theater, Museum, Temple, Sutra Tube Array, Pagoda Forest, Ancestral Altar, Tibetan and Qiang Diaolou Group, Song and Dance Square, Grassland Horse Farm, and Leisure Rafting River.
