Rouyuan Pavilion

Rouyuan Building is one of the three gate buildings of the world cultural heritage - Ming Great Wall Jiayuguan, which adopts traditional Xishan-style structure, beautiful shape, magnificent, after more than 500 years of wind and rain erosion, standing.

Rouyuan Building is located on the west side of Jiayu Guanguan City. It is one of three tall gate buildings facing the west, meaning "Huairou far away". It is more than ten meters high, and the three-story Xishan-style attic of brick and wooden structure stands on the side, and is majestic.

Very spectacular Chengmen Building, located on the west side of Jiayu Guanguan City, three-story Xishan-style structure, majestic and beautiful shape, after hundreds of years of wind and rain erosion, preservation is still intact, the town guarded in the westernmost end of the Great Wall.

I'm not familiar with the dates although our tour guide told us about the history. I was just in awe of the buildings and you can just feel the history there. It's beautiful to take in if you are there to just appreciate the buildings or for the history this is definitely a must see.

The door of the Rouyuan Building is engraved with the word "Rouyuan", which means that the Ming Dynasty implemented Huairou policy for the nomadic peoples outside the Guanwai, so as to appease the remote areas to achieve a long and secure strategy of governing the country. The Rouyuan Building is magnificent and stands tall, standing upstairs and a proud atmosphere is born!

The west end of Jiayuguan inner city is "Rouyuan Gate", and the ancient city building called "Rouyuan Building" is built on the city gate. It is five open rooms, Zhuhong column, a layer of blue brick to the top, there is a corridor, two floors of hollow flower board fence, each floor is a single moth of blue tube tiles, "soft far", meaning that the Ming Dynasty implemented the "Huairou" policy on the border (outside the customs) to appease the remote areas, To achieve long-term governance strategy.
