Panwang Dian

King Pan is the ancestor of the Yao people. Every time the Yao people go to a place, they build the Panwang Palace to commemorate their ancestors. After the Yao people entered the county, there used to be several Panwang Palaces, but they were eroded by wind and rain and have long since been destroyed. Later, according to the wishes of the Yao people, the Panwang Palace, which was originally built in Aunt Dashan, was relocated to Tuojiang Town, the county seat. The relocated Panwang Palace is located in the scenic Pingtouyan Park. The terrain is in the order of low, medium and high, corresponding to Pingtouyan. The Panwang Hall faces south and is a concrete antique-style building. After getting off the car at the spacious parking lot, you will enter the 8.9-meter-high Hu Holy Gate, which is flanked by the stilted buildings of the Yao family. The entire Panwang Palace is scattered from a distance, with red walls and glazed tiles, and is brilliant; from a close view, it is majestic, simple and elegant, with carved beams and painted buildings, antique and rich in national characteristics. It can be called the first temple of the Yao people in China. The central hall is the main building of Panwang Hall, and the statue of Pan Throne in the hall is 4.5 meters high. King Pan was smiling and amiable, with crossbow arrows and a divine drum beside him. On the wall are four large-scale murals reflecting the history of the Yao nationality. In the east is "Panwang Hunting Map", which is a microcosm of the hunting economy in the primitive society of the Yao nationality; in the west is "Crossing the Ocean and Sea Map", which reproduces the indefinite migration of Yao ancestors. The scenes of life; in the north are "Yao Patriarch's Inspiration" and "Dumani", reflecting the rich and colorful culture of the Yao nationality. The paintings on the beams are based on the legends of Yao nationality "Thousand Caves" and "Nanjing Ten Treasures Cave", as well as the beautiful scenery of Yaoshan Mountain, with rich content and pleasing pictures. The painted paintings of Panwang Hall have a surface of about 1,200 square meters, with 930 dragons, 608 phoenixes, 346 Suzhou-style paintings, 232 national costumes, 78 Yaojia landscapes, and countless flowers, plants, birds and beasts. The stilt-style wing room is a showroom of the Yao nationality's history and culture. The Yao nationality's production and living utensils, rituals, marriage customs, cultural activities, and military objects and photos are displayed, and the Yao nationality's long history and culture are reproduced in an intuitive way.
