My personal favorite building here in Jerash is the Temple of the Moon Goddess located in the innermost part of the entire scenic spot. As the daughter of Zeus, the Moon Goddess had an important role in ancient Greek mythology, and the Temple of the Moon Goddess and the Year of the Sun Gods also appeared in various ancient Greek and Roman architecture.
The Temple of the Moon Goddess of Artemis is the most beautiful building in the entire ancient city. The temple worships the main god of Jerusha, Artemis, the god of the moon. Many films use this place as a page to introduce the ancient city, which can be said to be the landmark building of the ancient city. Although most of them have collapsed, the remaining pillars still towering straight into the sky, with extraordinary momentum.
The main god of Jerusha, the moon god Artemis, is worshipped here. Although there are only a few stone pillars left, they are well preserved, especially the red Corinthian pillars, which are complete with petals and exquisite sculptures. Unfortunately, the temple has collapsed today and can't even imagine it.
Just want more time to be close to it, listen to its low chanting, shocking soul land.
