It should be noted that there is no convenience store along the way from Shijuan Station to Shijuan Port. The only convenience store is in Shijuan Station. Be sure to buy anything there. If you use google maps, you will be prompted to have a family mart on that road. The reality is that the store has been demolished this year. The mobile base station on the island only supports NTT docomo. Mobile phones can be supported, and some Japanese mobile wifi has no signal. Although there are paved roads on the island, the mountains are steep. Prepare for some effort. The Tandai Island Cat Republic on the top of the island can eat and rest. The island's cats are mainly concentrated in the port, the cat shrine and the village on the way up the mountain from the port of Rendoutian (that is, the port of disembarkation). If you choose to turn right from Rendoutian port and go straight up the mountain, you will not encounter a cat until the cat shrine. Dabo Port is still in a state of repair because it was destroyed. There is a small group of cats in the port, which is very difficult to find. There is a Luming Shrine in the village on the port side that is very beautiful, but you need to climb a small section of the mountain. When you go down the mountain, please pay attention. Some of the steps are damaged in the earthquake and are loose. The cats on the island are still relatively close - except for a short-tailed brown cat near the mobile base station. If you need to bring cat food to the island, be sure to use special cat food instead of human food. There are several family marts northwest of Sendai Station that sell cat food and canned cats.
