Very beautiful and amazing place! Just avoid 1st weeks of January because it is very crowded. You can walk and swim and the water is clear and calm.

Having done the natural pools at Milagres (Patacho and Lages) and Maragogi (Gales and Bento) last year, we were not impressed by the ones at Porto. I'd highly advise to be ready by the beach at least ...

Great for swimming
This is a very calm water beach. You have to go when the tide is not too high or too low. Otherwise, it is a wonderful place to spend some time.
