No. 8 of Shikoku 100 famous mountains
Original Text
It is a visit by car. It took 60 minutes from the Kanfuyama trailhead to Kuwase Pass, 80 minutes from Kuwase Pass to the top of the mountain, and 150 minutes from the top to the trailhead on the way back. It rained several times so I got soaked, but it didn't rain at the top of the mountain, so I had a good break.
It is the boundary between Ehime Prefecture and Kochi Prefecture. The long and straight tunnel with the Kanfuzan Tunnel, the Shinkanfuzan Tunnel and the next 々 passed through, and the distance between the two prefectures was getting closer. If you go on the old road, you can also go up to the top. However, since it is a mountain road in Shikoku, it is recommended to go slowly without being impatient. In winter, it will be a snowy area in Shikoku, so a chain must be brought!
Two girls climbed with a former colleague. Climb at 9 o'clock and climb in less than 2 hours as standard. It was gas, but it was good because it was raining. At first, I had four thin clothes layered, but it got cold enough to wear a sweater on the way. When I thought, my body warmed up around the steep slope at the end of the pass and took off again. I was embarrassed to talk, I left the water bottle in the car, and I managed to get rid of it by having my companion divide it. Summer ...
Mt. Kanfu, located in Ino Town, Kochi Prefecture, is a mountain with an altitude of 1763m belonging to the Ishigaki Mountains in the western part of the Shikoku Mountains. The mountain climbing route is from the exit of the Kochi Prefecture side of the Kanfuyama Tunnel, the trailhead next to the shop to the Kuwase Pass, and the ridge line runs vertically to the north to reach the top of the mountain. There is a route that goes straight up from the exit on the Ehime Prefecture side of the Kanfuyama Tunnel, but this is not recommended because it is a steep slope at the garage.
The area called the UFO line is influenced by the wind, and the forest limit is rare at this altitude. Therefore, there is nothing to block the visibility and it is a superb view zone. However, it seems that bears with children have been witnessed recently 々, so if you are climbing, it seems better to prepare bear-free equipment.
