I went to Onnatake Shrine earlier, so I was surprised that Ototake Shrine was so different. There was an observatory, a shrine office, and a building that would be a souvenir, and there was an observatory. There was no one at the shrine office and there were many monkey figurines around the shrine. The view from the observatory was a dam, but I think the wind was strong and the stairs were a little steep, but it's a nice shrine.

Parking available. It is a famous shrine in Iki, but it was reserved. The deity is Sarutahiko. It is said that the god of guidance is enshrined because it is the place where Tsukuyomi descended. There is also Onnatake Shrine nearby, so it seems that it originally enshrined the god of male parents. There was also a megalith near the top of the mountain, giving it an Izumo-like atmosphere of Kojin worship.
