恒山水库，位于山西省浑源县城南五千米处。北岳恒山脚下，海河流域永定河水系桑干河上游浑河支流汤峪河上。是一座以防洪为主、兼顾灌溉等综合利用的中型水利枢纽水库。
恒山水度虽说是人造景观，但是，水库之中自然生态环境在长期的演变中，发展成一道道难得的风景，美刹了大家关爱大自然风景眼神。
恒山脚下的金龙峡，从高空俯瞰，金龙峡中的唐峪河如巨龙从恒山腹地逶迤而出，在峡口被恒山水库70余米的大坝遏住关口后扭曲盘旋形成宝葫芦状、集水面积164平方公里的人工湖，大坝西侧的翠屏峰半壁中，一处玲珑袖珍的飞檐楼阁便是传说中的悬空寺。
