It's worth it. Back to childhood memories, old houses, old objects, and folk items on display are the same as my old house. Restored the old look of an old street, the price is very high, and I will definitely take the children to see it next time.
MoreThe Jianzhou Jurchen History Exhibition Hall is located at the foot of the Wunü Mountain City, a World Cultural Heritage Site. Construction began on July 10, 2017 and was completed and opened to the public on September 30, 2018.
The exhibition hall has a construction area of 3,483 square meters and an exhibition area of 2,800 square meters. It is divided into two major areas: the theme exhibition hall "The Glory of Jianzhou - Exhibition of the History and Folk Customs of the Manchus in Huanren" and the subsidiary exhibition hall "The Melodious Charm of Porcelain - Exhibition of Korean Porcelains from the Huanren Cultural Relics Bureau". A total of more than 1,300 cultural relics and folk items are exhibited. In addition, the exhibition hall has two subsidiary exhibition halls, each of which is 259 square meters, which respectively display the intangible cultural heritage of Huanren and the marriage customs of the Manchus.
The first floor of the theme exhibition hall records the origin of the Jianzhou Jurchens, the ancestors of the Manchus, and their history of development and growth in the 238 years since their migration to Huanren in the south, through graphic display boards, scene restoration, character sculptures, and multimedia interpretation. A large number of historical facts prove that the Jianzhou Jurchens in Huanren made outstanding contributions to the unification of the Northeastern Jurchens, the establishment of the Later Jin regime, and the founding of the Qing Dynasty. Huanren was the place where the Qing Dynasty began. The second floor of the theme exhibition hall is dominated by the restoration of Manchu residential scenes. Through the display of clothing and utensils, it fully demonstrates the unique folk customs of the Manchus, such as fishing, hunting, sacrifice, weddings, funerals, and shamanism.
The attached exhibition hall is located on the third floor, displaying more than 100 pieces of porcelain from the Goryeo and Joseon dynasties collected by the Huanren Cultural Relics Bureau. Through the exhibition, we can see the organic integration of the Korean Peninsula's porcelain-making skills influenced by China and local culture.
The completion of the Jianzhou Jurchen History Exhibition Hall will not only become an effective carrier for the inheritance of Jianzhou Jurchen culture, but also a new landmark for Huanren's tourism development and folk culture symbol. With the construction of ancillary facilities, it will also become a leisure and tourism area in Northeast China with distinctive ethnic cultural characteristics.
