Wawushan near Chengdu is a great place to see the snow, it's been very popular recently! We went there on the third day of the Lunar New Year, and had to queue for the cable car for an hour and a half. If you want to take photos, I suggest staying in a nearby hotel the night before and getting on the mountain as soon as the cable car opens at 7.30. The first cable car takes 18 minutes to get halfway up the mountain, the fog is quite heavy and there's no sunlight, visibility is low. I personally don't think there's much to photograph, I suggest hurrying to the next cable car. If you have time on the way back, you can take a look around. The second cable car takes 15 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. The weather was great when we went, as long as it's clear, the mountain is very beautiful. Wawushan National Forest Park is located within the territory of Wawushan Town, southwest of Hongya County, Meishan City, along the western edge of the Sichuan Basin. The summit plateau of Wawushan covers an area of about 11 square kilometers, with the highest altitude being 2830 meters, recognized as China's tallest and largest 'square mountain'. The essence of Wawushan lies in the Lanxi Waterfall and the Lanxi sheer cliff plank road. Lanxi Waterfall is considered to be the waterfall with the largest drop in the world, and the Lanxi sheer cliff plank road is in the shape of a Z, clinging to a 90-degree basalt steep cliff. It zigzags upwards, with cliffs rising thousands of feet all around, overlooking an abyss tens of thousands of feet deep, and is about 2 kilometers long.

It's actually a lake but is called a pond, perhaps because it seems petite on Wawushan Mountain. The lake under the blue sky and white clouds is always beautiful, and aside from the water, the side near Taiqing Palace was half-frozen, maybe it's because of the serene atmosphere, which invites contemplation. On a whim, I left the flat trail and took a mountain path where the snow was deeper.
