#familytrips2024 Hong Kong Disneyland is a theme park located on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It was the first Disneyland in Asia outside of Japan until Shanghai Disneyland in 2016. After experiencing Shanghai Disneyland, Hong Kong is much smaller and we are able to finish most of the spots in one day! I purchased the tickets on Trip app, and just show the QR at the entry. Frozen is the current focus theme in HK Disneyland. Make sure you check out the winter castle and play with Elsa and Anna! Remember to download app beforehand to make appointments and check locations. The park is accessible through MTR, which is a direct Disney themed line! We were lucky enough to have a sunny day in rainy May, and walked the whole park for 3 times! (Which is something you can’t experience in Shanghai🤣) #HongKongTravelGuide

Visiting Disneyland was one of the top things on my list when I visited Hong Kong. Here are some of my tips to ensure you have a magical day! Jump in the car and race back and forth on the U shaped track! 🌟 Jungle River Cruise - Set sail on an adventure down the river with your own guided tour through the jungle. 🌟 Mickey and Friends Street Celebration - Check the app for parade times. A Mickey-led train themed parade with all of your favourite characters! 🌟 “Momentous” Nighttime Spectacular - Stay in the park after sunset to see all of the beautiful lights and the fireworks show on the castle! Park Size: Shanghai Disneyland wins Shanghai Disneyland is the third largest Disneyland in the world, and it's not possible to experience all of its attractions in one day, unlike in Hong Kong Disneyland. 2. Themed Subway: Hong Kong Disneyland wins Hong Kong Disneyland has a dedicated Disney-themed subway. When you get on the exclusive subway, you will clearly hear the announcer say: Today is a wonderful day~ When you go back, you will hear the announcer say: The train is about to take you back to the reality of Hong Kong, giving you a feeling of truly being in Disneyland. 3. Belle Reservation: Hong Kong Disneyland wins It's easier to meet Belle in Hong Kong Disneyland, and Belle dolls can be freely purchased there. Perhaps because Hong Kong Disneyland caters to international tourists and Shanghai Disneyland caters to domestic tourists, it's relatively easy to meet Belle with a good strategy... I mentioned this in my previous note. 4. Character Meet and Greet: Shanghai Disneyland wins Character meet and greets in Hong Kong Disneyland are by reservation, while in Shanghai Disneyland, they are generally available. In fact, apart from the excessively long queue for Belle in Shanghai Disneyland, everything else is fine. The main thing is that if they are available, you can see the characters even if you don't want to queue. I was very happy to see them interacting with the audience when I was in Shanghai Disneyland. 5. Parade: Shanghai Disneyland wins The parade in Shanghai Disneyland is really good, with all the performers participating. I think it's an indispensable part of Disneyland, but Hong Kong Disneyland seems to have recently replaced the parade with a Marvel star meet and greet, which is also very interactive, but I feel that boys may like it more haha 6. Castle: Shanghai Disneyland wins The castle in Shanghai Disneyland is relatively more beautiful, larger and more dreamy. It's more photogenic, and the fireworks show at night is equally good in both parks. 7. Queue Time: Hong Kong Disneyland wins The queue time for each attraction in Hong Kong Disneyland is about 20-30 minutes, a bit longer during the summer vacation. In Shanghai Disneyland, you need to spend money, otherwise it will test your patience. In comparison, the experience in Hong Kong Disneyland is better, but Shanghai Disneyland, as the most profitable park in the world, certainly has its own attractions. I love both, and I am very much looking forward to the new Frozen and Zootopia themed parks in Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland this year. Promise me, you must take the kids to Hong Kong Disneyland during the summer vacation, because it's really, really, really fun! The newly refurbished Disney's Hollywood Hotel is back, and the new Art of Animation and Studio Lounge will surely provide a fresh experience. Hong Kong Disneyland is a theme park located on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island. Hong Kong Disneyland is the main reason why my sister and I visited Hong Kong. Undoubtedly one of the famous attractions in Hong Kong, this theme park boasts of 7 themed attractions like Fantasyland, Adventureland, Main Street, Mystic Point, Toy Story Land, Tomorrowland and Grizzly Gulch. Being here is like fulfilling a childhood dream, especially seeing the fireworks display. This time we went to Hong Kong Disneyland. Because we had something in the morning, we didn't enter the park until the afternoon, and we were shopping and taking pictures before 4:00, without any projects. That is to say, we didn't start the project until 4:00 in the afternoon. Then we didn't buy the VIP card for the main park! Just bought a single VIP card for the new Frozen park. (Note: The VIP card for the new park is separate, not included in the 3 items and 8 items of the main park!) First went to "Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain" and "Iron Man Experience", these two are very close, and at that time they were all queued for about 10 minutes. Then we rushed to the new park of , where the projects usually have to queue for more than an hour. So if you don't want to queue, just buy a VIP card to enter. (There was a small episode here, that is, we did not register for the Disneyland membership in advance, and the mobile phone signal was not good, and it took 20 minutes to buy the VIP card at the door.) Fortunately, we used the VIP card to experience "Frozen Ever After", and there was no need to queue at all when we went in. This new project is not particularly impressive, but since it is the first launch in Disneyland, it is worth a try! Another "Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs" feels like a regular roller coaster, and the queue is also very long. We didn't want to spend more money on VIP cards, so we didn't go. The shops in the park are also crowded and need to queue, but there will be some products that are not available in the main park. The scene of Arendelle Town is still very beautiful, very suitable for taking pictures, although there are many people, but you can still get a big picture if you find a good position! Then we wanted to see "Festival of The Lion King", calculated the time, and just went to the "It's a Small World" that didn't need to queue up. "Festival of The Lion King" has four performances every day, each lasting half an hour, which is worth watching! When we came out, it was dark, and it was time for dinner, and we had to queue for dinner. After eating and drinking, we took advantage of the gap when most people were queuing for fireworks in advance, and quickly experienced two popular projects "Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars" and "Mystic Manor", which usually take a long time to queue, but before watching the fireworks, they can basically go in a few minutes. After the project, the fireworks were about to start, and we ran all the way to to grab an outdoor position, sat down comfortably and watched the fireworks. There will be a little obstruction, but it doesn't matter. Overall, this trip was quite enjoyable, and we took many favorite photos. You can hug and take pictures with Qibao, and if you're a couple, remember to wear matching outfits with Daffy and friends themes to take photos and enhance the experience! ▪️Here, the scenes from the stop-motion animation of Duffy and his friends are truly restored! You can immerse yourself in their living room, visit Keqi'an's kitchen, explore Geraldoni's art gallery, and even get lost in Lina Belle's forest maze to catch butterflies. ▪️Tip: "Duffy and Friends Playhouse" admission ticket is 79 yuan per ticket, and can be booked before September 29th. Seeing the sky full of fireworks, it feels as if any wish could come true at that moment. I couldn't help but loudly express my deepest love to my wife and child, letting the stars and lights commemorate this moment. Let me tell you a secret spot, absolutely unique. While everyone is crowded in the Town Square, I ran under the "Orbitron" facing the "Enchanted Storybook Castle", where you can capture both in one frame (see photo 5/photo 6). Isn't it amazing? The best part is, there's not a single person here, so no heads will be captured in the shot, leaving a clean image with the brilliant fireworks, becoming your exclusive beautiful picture.
