Mr. Sun Yat-sen is a well-known revolutionary, dedicated his life to overthrow the Manchu Qing Dynasty, establish a republic, and is recognized by the world, not only by Chinese people at home and abroad, but also enjoys a high reputation in the world. Mr. Sun Yat-sen is closely related to Hong Kong, where he received secondary and university education, where he nurtured revolutionary ideas and planned revolutionary uprisings. The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall opened to the public in 2006. The memorial building is four floors high and has a total floor area of about 2,560 square meters. It has two permanent exhibition halls featuring a number of precious historical relics, with a diversified audio-visual programme to fully elaborate the life of Mr. Sun Yat-sen and the restoration of Hong Kong in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The important role played by the revolutionary movement. The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall highlights Mr. Sun's close relationship with Hong Kong and reminds local citizens and overseas tourists of the great generation's activities in Hong Kong.
The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is a typical large-family western-style building. The staircases and walkways are covered with thick carpets, which used to be the residence of Ganzidi. The exhibits in the room are not allowed to take pictures. Some important exhibits include Sun Yat-sen's couplet to Huang Xing, personal inscriptions to Hong Kong sailors "fraternity", instructions from the Grand Marshal, etc.
The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is located in a very quiet area between Sheung Wan and the University of Hong Kong.
In the vicinity of Central Hong Kong, I had seen a tour introduction before I came to introduce this house - Gantangdi, the architectural style of the Edwardian era, so the main purpose of my visit was to see the art of architecture. Adult tickets were 10 yuan, and students were 5 yuan. Inside the building still retains its original characteristics, Greek-style pillars, colorful windows.. Looking at the building alone, it is worth the fare.
A long history, it is worth going to punch in
It is very suitable for a large and small family to play. There are many beautiful scenery next to it. There are also many special restaurants.
