Don't miss this shrine on your visit to Chuson-ji.

I visited this shrine in early December 2023 on a guided tour of Motsu-ji and Chuson-ji temples. The shrine is located on the top plateau of Chuson-ji, adjacent to the Konjiki-do (Golden Temple). It ...

    The Noh stage is kunishigefumi

    Original Text

Enshrined in the innermost part of Chusonji Temple. In 850, Jikaku Daishi Ennin solicited Hakusan Hime Shrine to guard the northern part of Chusonji Temple. The deities are Izanagi and Izanami. The hall of worship and main hall are wooden copper plate-roofed. In front of Haiden, there is a Noh stage rebuilt by Yoshikuni date, the 13th Lord of Sendai domain in 1853 (national important cultural property).

    Mao の round

Go further through the main golden hall of Chusonji Temple and you will find Hakusan Shrine. There is a shrine beside a Japanese temple and you can see the style that coexists here as well. There is a Kaya ring. There is an explanation of how to pass through, so I followed it. I hope it will be a removal of evil. If you go further, there is a Noh theater, which you can't miss.
