    Maybe from the historical point of view the shipyards are amazing but they are nothing to look at today. You can see them from the harbour but they just look like small tunnels.

    Near the Venetian Harbor

    You will notice them as you walk around the harbor. Only a few remain. Surprised they have not been converted into shops, or restaurants, or a small museum, as other Crete cities have done.
