"Yamasumi pilgrimage" An old historical shrine
Original Text
If you explore the surroundings and walk around, you can feel the history and think it's a place with horse mackerel. It's not flashy because it's not touristy. It's not a fox, it's a dog, stone, etc. It's a pity that pillars, corridors, etc. are under repair due to aging. There are quite a few roads in the mountains, but there are many places where the visibility is narrow and the car from the opposite does not come! I arrived while praying, so I unexpectedly received a traffic safety amulet first. Just get a red stamp, ... in the back.

I drove on the Tenryu Super Forest Road from Akiba Shrine, stopped by Tenryu no Mori, and then visited Yamasumi Pass. There was a free parking lot (about 10 cars) with a good view on the pass, and there was a tea shop on the pass in front of the gate. When you enter the precincts from the torii gate, there are two magnificent cedars and they are worshiped as sacred trees, and it seems that they are designated as natural monuments of the prefecture. In the back of Osugi, the side-facing shrine was enshrined, and it was surrounded by a very quiet and solemn atmosphere. After worshiping, I ate at the tea shop at the pass, Kushiimo Yama ...

At a shrine related to Ieyasu Tokugawa, the mountain dog "wolf" is drawn on a god card and the Aoi crest appears as large. There are two huge cedar trees standing in the precincts. There are large trees over 1,000 years old, why? I don't know, but there is a shrine facing sideways from the entrance. Is it made that I haven't seen much? ??
