You can visit both gaps without having to trek between them. During our visit, there was a lot of water at Emily that was being enjoyed by many families.
Both Emily and Jessie Gaps are quite close to Alice Springs (in fact closer than Simpsons Gap in the West MacDonnells) They are both quite pretty and easily accessible as neither is far from the parki...

emily gap rock art is currently not accessible unless you want to wade through water , while jessie gap's accessible but not all that impressive

A short drive out east to Emily Gap and very short easy walk. So pretty. A few minutes further drive is Jessie Gap, just as pretty.
