Naval Observation Point Turned Photo Op
The Ashigezaki Lookout was used during World War II as an observation point. Now it’s a site for pretty pictures of the Pacific. Recommended if you’re in Hachinohe.
This is a perfect spot to begin your day on the coast. The lookout is an old Navy observation post and easy access from the parking lot. There is a cafe with large windows to enjoy the view and coffe...
Old Japanese Army の Military Installation が Outlook に!
Original Text
A few kilometers east of Kabushima on the coastline. There was an observatory made by stacking stones on the rocks in the rocky coastal area. This was the Kamogasaki Observatory. Behind the observatory is a chalk lighthouse, a horn lighthouse. It is said that this tsurugasaki observatory was a military facility for the former Japanese army at the end of the Pacific War. It seems that this area is the beginning of the Tanesashi coast, and the beautiful coast continued.
The view of the Pacific Ocean from here is also good.

It seems that the former Japanese army was using it. Certainly you can overlook the Pacific Ocean from here. The stone platform creates a nice atmosphere. It's not very big, but it's a place where you can see a good view. I think I took a good picture.
