The Muséedela RésistanceetdelaDportationdel''Isère Izel Provincial Resistance and Eviction Museum tells the true history of the Second World War. Tourists here remember the lost souls and hope that the historical tragedy will not be repeated. Many Jews and other ethnic groups were purged and the Nazis moved many people from Grenoble to concentration camps. Open hours are Monday, Wednesday to Sunday, July and August, Tuesday 13:30-19:00, September to June, Monday, Wednesday to Friday 9:00-18:00, Tuesday 13:30-18:00, Saturday and Sunday 10:00-18:00. Free to visit. Tram A line can be reached nearby from Verdun-Préfecture station.
